A father named Michael Benesh once raised his child, Anastasia Benesh, on Converge and Muse... little did he know nearly 20 years later she would become a photographer with so much to give to the world!
We developed S.O.S. to have a news/media outlet to document our favorite artists. We would also love to take your portraits or do a studio shoot anytime! There are no limits to creativity. Book Here.
Coming from a house that has a very alternative background, I was introduced to great music from a young age. I was always around art, whether it was art schools, choir, solo music, chamber orchestra, ballet, or opera. After awhile of doing ballet as a child, my brain switched gears and focused more on music. I found I had a knack for playing cello and bass, then eventually started singing more.
Awhile later, I started listening to more 90's music such as Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Radiohead, and Muse. Muse's "Origin of Symmetry" shaped me into who I am today. Just knowing the fact that one day I will be able to photograph these talented people fills me with joy.

For me, music has been there for the best and worst times in my life. It shaped who I am. I connect most with the raw elements of the underground scene as well as popular culture, where honesty and intensity matter more than attractiveness.
Through film and photography, I capture the spirit of some of the most powerful and outstanding performances in a community that inspires me. Music isn’t just something I listen to—it’s where I find freedom, creativity, and belonging.
