The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, California provided an intimate yet electrifying setting for Halsey’s seventh California date on the For My Last Trick Tour. Fans arrived eagerly as the house lights dimmed, primed for a night of theatrical flair woven with raw emotional power.

Halsey’s stage presence fused vulnerability with intensity, transitioning smoothly between stripped-down confessions and explosive rock stylings. The set’s unpredictable structure—thanks to audience-powered song selections—made each moment feel spontaneous and deeply connected. This democratic format also underscored Halsey’s willingness to share control and create a uniquely participatory experience.
The highlights for me of course had to be the fan-driven “Dealer’s Choice” concept, turning song selection into entertainment itself, the fan interaction during “I Miss You,” with a nod to “Mallsey,” adding playful energy, the live unveiling of “I’m Not Mad” felt intimate and special, a gift to fans, and finally, Halsey’s candid discussion of playing “Lucid” captured the push-and-pull of creative expression and public expectation.

Halsey’s Thunder Valley show on July 5, 2025, was a luminous highlight of the For My Last Trick Tour. It expertly balanced theatrical invention with soulful vulnerability, kept fans guessing from note to encore, and reaffirmed Halsey’s place as one of pop’s most daring live performers. The energy, the surprises, and the emotional resonance made it unforgettable.
